From the Directors' Corner - Jan 2008
1 Samuel 7:12: Samuel then took a stone and placed it between Mizpah and Jeshanah and named it Ebenezer (Meaning the Stone of help) for he said; The Lord has certainly helped us!

At this time of reflection and looking back at all the Lord has brought us through, we like Samuel, can place the stone and say; indeed the Lord has helped us! It has taken 18 years raising up Emmanuel to what it is today, we have thought of Emmanuel as raising a young child to adolescence and eventually raising him to adulthood. It has not been easy having to do all this in faith, but God has been faithful to help us to completion.
We have travailed much in prayer asking the Lord to provide everything that we need in raising His children - He has taught us to cry out and depend on Him, we have made many mistakes and wrong decisions that have brought consequences and only because of His love and forgiveness can we continue on. So as this new year has already begun and as we usually make ‘new year resolutions’ and promises that we cant keep or fulfill, may we continue on this year to cry out in our future times of troubles and remember the stones in our lives.
