Did you know...?

- In January 1995 Emmanuel welcomed the two first volunteers, Mette from Denmark and Emma from England
- In June 1996 Emmanuel had 165 children
- During 1996 the church at Emmanuel was built.
- In September 2007 220 girls and 218 boys in all ages live at Emmanuel.
- In September 2007 Emmanuel has 6 kitchens serving an average of 75 meals 3 times a day – 1350 plates served a day!
- That every day around 600 pairs of socks are sent to the different laundries at Emmanuel – and always several dozens return without their ‘partner’ – is this a universal mystery?
- Scrambled eggs for dinner requires a minimum of 75 eggs in each kitchen – with 6 kitchens that means ordering 450 eggs from the farm each time we make that dish!
