September 2006
God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble.
Psalms 46:1
Dear Friends!
We all here at Emmanuel wish to be a blessing to you all, by praying Gods word over you. It is because of His grace and your prayers that we are able to continue on and so many of our needs are being met. No matter what your present situation is, or how dark and impossible it may seem - be encouraged, there is someone who waits to help you, there is light at the end of your tunnel. God has heard your prayers and cries and is already moving on your behalf. He has a time and knows exactly when to answer, He may not answer in the way and the time that you wish but He will answer.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Psalms 34:19
None of us are exempt from troubles and praise God we do have someone who will help us out of all of them. All we need to do is pray, trust and believe and all of us here at Emmanuel pray and believe with you for whatever your need or your prayer is.
We give thanks and praise to Our Lord for all of you and for your prayers and faith. God continues to bless us in so many ways. We recently completed the construction of two new classrooms and in the upcoming months we will be working on projects to address several infrastructure needs related to sewage, electrical power and the use of a generator, and access to additional water from the drilling of an additional well.
Christmas is coming closer and we know that so many of you have the children especially close to your hearts at this time of

year and that you wish to bless and encourage them with a special treat. For those of you planning to send a gift to your sponsor child or any child here at Emmanuel we recommend that you send these gifts to Becky Clifton at the following address:
